Title – Workshop Engineer Hours – 7am-4pm Monday - Friday 40 hrs Salary - £16.00- £19.00 p/hr Location – Barnsley Role – Permanent This is an exciting opportunity for the successful Workshop Engineer to work for an Agriculutral Machinery supplier who have over 50 years of industry expertise, They gained themselves a reputation for excellence within that time, due to a steady increase in orders and machines they are now looking to recruit and bolster out their field service teams where duties will include: Role:- Workshop Engineers will be required to repair, service, maintain and perform PDI’s on new and used construction and waste recycling equipment. Experience of working on heavy plant machinery over 5 tonnes. Requirements Good understanding of hydraulic systems Competent with reading/understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics and fault finding Knowledge of current construction equipment including engine management systems Apprenticeship or dealer trained preferred Must be IT literate Must be comfortable working as part of a team and on own initiative Package :- Basic Working Hours - 40 hours per week, with significant opportunities for overtime and Saturday working if desired which is paid at 1.5 times basic rate Sick Pay Holiday entitlement – 32 days (including bank holidays) Birthday Leave Holiday Buy Back Full in-house training along with Product Training opportunities externally with our Brand partners.
