Ocean Spray is hiring a new Marketing & Innovation Project Manager, EMEA This person will be responsible for writing the next chapter for Ocean Spray, by leading the successful delivery of identified projects to enhance and create new food and beverage products, from project scope to commercial production. Working with the Marketing team to manage the European projects for innovation and renovation and deliver initiatives as per long range plan. The position reports to the EMEA Marketing Senior Manager, with regular travel to UK & EU-Based Partners. Travelling expected 20% of time. Own the Initiative 3-year plan (Innovation/ Renovation) contributing to execute the EMEA Long Range Plan ambition, in line with the Brand Strategy, and ensuring alignment with cross functional teams in US-based Head Quarters. Drive the commercialization & timelines and gate process for new initiatives, from initiation of idea through to final launch, in partnership with cross functional team (Marketing, Finance, Commercial, Operation, US R&D), liaising with co-pack partners, Us-based R&D and flavor houses. Track project progress through regular meetings with external and internal partners; ensuring projects are kept on timeline and all team members adequately informed of next steps and requirements for decision stage gate. Alert about the risk and mitigation action to ensure project delivered on-time. Project lead for 3 specific initiatives/ project at any one time, such as reformulation & renovation initiatives. When necessary, support Product Development (formula and packaging) in collaboration with Marketing, R&D and third party. Informed by food engineering knowledge, ensure product viability, aligned with COGS target, and stability (shelf-life, quality…). Aware of regulatory and legal environment. Responsible for Consumer Sensory/ Taste research with Insight team, as agreed with Marketing Manager, Develop partnership with key ingredient suppliers & Europe existing co-pack partners. Create strong partnership with Global Innovation and R&D teams, based in Boston, MA. Plan and hold an annual trends forum and competitive review to European team. Maintain at the edge of new consumer trends, beverage technologies and the best practices regarding innovation. Contribute to wider team innovation mindset and best practices in the European Team, actively engage in contributing to European team intellectual curiosity and awareness of new trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree preferred Food engineering background 2 years of experience in CPG Innovation required. Creative problem solver, and able to be collaborative with a diverse, cross-functional team. Project management and planning experience. Ideally experience of factory / industrial environment Fluency in English to a high level Fluency in 1 other European language Genuine collaborator across functions Excellent communication and relationship building (delivering through others) Thrive in complexity.
