As an Application Support analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining a stack of business-critical applications, including both COTS products and internally developed solutions. You will ensure that services run seamlessly, enabling users to focus on their daily business activities.
As part of the Application Support team, you will monitor applications and services via a service management tool, responding to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs. In case of an incident, the App Support Analyst is expected to diagnose and resolve the issue promptly.
Roles and Responsibilities of an Application Support Analyst
The analyst will be responsible for critical software across various business directorates such as Engineering, Finance, and Payroll. You will investigate the root cause of issues and recommend actions to prevent recurrence, which may include process changes, enhanced monitoring, user training, or formal modifications to code or configurations.
The application support team member should be flexible to support colleagues during holidays to ensure continuous service and business operations.
You must be willing to travel to one of our sites in Edinburgh, Luton, or Basildon.
