The role is based in Edinburgh and the salary will be in the region of £26,500 to £28,500 depending on experience and suitability to the role. A small company van is provided and may be used for travel to and from the office and/or visits.
The successful candidate will require excellent handyman skills in order to maintain our landlords' properties under our management. Responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out Portable Appliance Tests
2. Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments
3. Performing tasks in painting, joinery, minor plumbing, and electrical work
4. Managing various tasks involved in property management
Excellent organisational and clear communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. The candidate must have the ability to prioritise works and show flexibility in all aspects of the role. A full driving licence is essential. Experience in a similar role (e.g., working for a letting agency) is an advantage.
