Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and diagnostics on HGV vehicles.
* Service and inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
* Repair vehicles safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.
* Identify and report faults or potential issues to the supervisor promptly.
* Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are operational and report any faulty items.
* Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Attend training courses to stay up to date with the latest industry advancements and standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in HGV maintenance, diagnostics, and safety inspections.
* Time-served mechanic with City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
* Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently when required.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and customer service.
