This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PR professional to join the agency's trade team, working with high-profile food & beverage clients across foodservice, retail, and grocery sectors.\n\nIf you have a strong background in B2B and trade PR, excellent industry contacts, and a passion for driving impactful campaigns, this role could be your next career move.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nClient Relations:\nAct as the primary client contact, managing a portfolio of high-profile food & beverage accounts. The majority of which are long-term, retained accounts.\nDevelop and implement strategic trade PR campaigns, tailored to client objectives.\nEnsure exceptional client service through consistent communication and proactive updates.
\n\nMedia Relations:\nBuild and nurture relationships with key trade and B2B journalists, particularly in foodservice, retail, and grocery.\nCreate and pitch compelling narratives to secure impactful media coverage.\nStay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities for client exposure.\nServe as day-to-day contact with journalists and influencers on client's behalf.\nConfidently answer journalist and influencers' questions, coordinate requests for product and interviews and provide useful information. Add strategic context, offering competitive comparison and long-term corporate positioning.\nThorough knowledge of target media, and sharing that knowledge with junior staff. \n\nCampaign Management:\nPlan, execute, and evaluate creative trade PR campaigns, ensuring measurable results.\nWrite and edit press releases, feature articles, and other media content.\nCollaborate with creative teams to deliver innovative campaign materials.
\n\nTeam Leadership:\nMentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and high performance.\nDelegate effectively, ensuring smooth delivery of projects within deadlines. \n\nEvent Management:\nCoordinate and manage trade events, product launches, and press briefings.\nRepresent clients at key industry events, enhancing their visibility and influence. \n\nPerformance Analysis:\nTrack and report on campaign success, providing data-driven insights to clients.\nPropose optimisations and future strategies based on results.
