Their focus is on providing bespoke generator solutions, from design and manufacturing to installation and commissioning, ensuring seamless project delivery across the UK.
The Role
As a Project Manager in the Generator Projects division, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects ranging from £20,000 to £1,000,000. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver generator solutions to clients on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate key account projects.
* Develop and oversee project schedules, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Supervise all aspects of generator delivery, site installation, and commissioning.
* Lead site activities involving company engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and production teams.
* Prepare and submit risk assessments and method statements.
* Provide progress reports and attend client meetings as needed.
The Person
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills and experience in the generator or related industry.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven project management experience, ideally within the power generation or engineering sector.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
* Competence in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams) for project tracking and documentation.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with values ranging from £20,000 to £1,000,000.
* Familiarity with health and safety standards, including risk assessments and method statements.
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of generator delivery, installation, and commissioning processes.
* Experience with scheduling and financial forecasting.
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
* Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Flexible Working: Options for 3–4 days of remote working per week (depending on project requirements)
* Hours:
* Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:50 PM
* Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:10 PM (37.5 hours/week)
