Job Description
As a KS2 SEN Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons that cater to each student's specific requirements, and monitoring progress closely to ensure academic and personal growth.
Minimum Requirements
1. A relevant teaching qualification
2. Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
3. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
4. Proven experience in teaching and supporting students with SEN, specifically at Key Stage 2 level
5. In-depth understanding of SEN strategies and best practices
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
8. Additional certifications in Special Education or SEN teaching
9. Experience with assessment and evaluation of SEN students
The role may require flexibility in working hours based on student needs and the academic calendar.
