Job Responsibilities
1. Monitor volume reporting database and report inconsistencies to supervisor.
2. Communicate with Regional Agents to ensure consistency in volume management and outreach.
3. Assist in revising Extension publications:
o Facilitate review and renewal processes.
4. Provide administrative support for statewide Volunteer program management:
o Mail or deliver program materials.
o Order materials for events and workshops.
o Coordinate survey tools used by volunteers.
5. Manage student questions and facilitate Canvas course operations:
o Coordinate communication between teachers and students as needed.
o Coordinate with IT on technical issues.
o Monitor overall Canvas course functioning from July 31 to Nov 6.
o Preferred knowledge: Sufficient understanding of course content to assist with student questions, with a general knowledge of plant science and/or horticulture.
6. Write social media posts.
7. Facilitate final logistics for EMG Intern graduation (~200 attendees).

Minimum Qualifications
Strong proficiency in computer applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of Canvas.
Practical knowledge of horticulture or plant science.
Salary Range
$16.00 per hour.
Work Hours
7:45 AM - 4:45 PM; hours may vary.
