Your new school I am currently working with a school in Cardiff to recruit for a Design and Technology teacher specialising in product design. Your new role Starting in January, you will be a full-time teacher dealing with a range of lessons and specialising in Product Design and currently hold or be willing to renew a safety certificate such as DATA.You will have responsibilities such as: Teach KS3 - KS4 Nurture a range of learning abilities Staff meetings Parent's evenings, Pastoral responsibilities, Planning and preparation of lessons, marking and assessment What you'll need to succeed Qualified teaching Status or PCET with secondary school experience Experience of teaching Engineering and Product Design Proven track record of helping students Strong classroom management skills Registered with the Education Workforce Council Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one NQT's encouraged to apply What you'll get in return This job opportunity will allow you to work in a secondary school with over 900 pupils in Cardiff.
