Varied admin role in a lovely, well-established & family-orientated local business in Wisbech: circa £25000 JOB TITLE: Administrator JOB LOCATION: Wisbech JOB HOURS: 37.5 per week but flex on start/finish/lunch times JOB HOLIDAYS: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays JOB NOTES: please note, this job is fully office-based, no home working Your new company Our client has been established for almost 15 years and though steadily managed expansion, they have grown into one of the regions most successful and well-regarded in their field. As a result of a busy order book, they are now at a point where they need to hire an additional administrator to work in their team to support the directors and managers. Your new role Your job will be busy and varied You'll deal with everything from office admin on behalf of the managers and directors to placing orders for materials, raise purchase orders, liaise with customers, support the accountant by inputting invoices to customer accounts. You'll work with Excel spreadsheets, Word and Outlook as well as their customer database. What you'll need to succeed It's really important that applicants have experience of administrative tasks in office-based jobs. You'll need to be confident to use Excel spreadsheets (simple formulas and formatting the spreadsheets) and you'll be really good at multitasking. You'll be friendly and a great communicator because your job is a point of information and help for engineers, suppliers and customers, so you'll talk to people from all walks of life.
