The Salvation Army forms part of the Christian church and boasts an extensive social remit, providing a range of social and community services, including services for children and the elderly, those trapped in modern-day slavery, homeless people, individuals struggling with addiction, and people seeking employment.
Key Responsibilities :
The role of Concierge Worker will provide assistance with Housing Management functions in our Lifehouse Service and will often be the first point of contact for everyone accessing our Lifehouse. The role is also pivotal in ensuring our vision for high quality, outcome focused support services is delivered. You will also complete day to day activities including administration tasks and reception duties to support the successful operation of Southwark Young People Service.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
1. Offer front of house services, manage additional front of house duties including telephone calls and external visitors to the Lifehouse
2. Data entry including maintenance of financial spreadsheets to support Housing Management payments and Health and Safety requirement logs
3. Working with external suppliers to ensure smooth running of Lifehouse including contacting suppliers and the reporting, logging and satisfactory completion of repairs.
4. Help facilitate Personal and Housing Benefit payments assist with keeping accurate financial records
5. Manage enquiries relating to available accommodation.
