Job Purpose
* Planning and managing a diverse portfolio of clients acting in a pivotal role beneath the audit manager.
* Running audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance
* Preparing accounts and tax computations within audit engagements
* Carrying out technical research and presenting findings clearly and effectively
* Building strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving
* Delivering a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy
* Keeping up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
* Managing your own workload, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
* Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified, part qualified or equivalent
* A minimum of two years' experience within UK practice
* Sound knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards
* Working knowledge of tax regulations, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting standards
* Working knowledge of Sage Accounts and Caseware audit software would be an advantage
* Resilient and able to multi-task
* Good communication skills, both written and verbally
* Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
* A team player who is eager to support the wider team
