This innovative and forward thinking law firm are looking to recruit an employment lawyer with around 2-4 PQE to join their busy team. They are very flexible and you could work remotely, or from the office based in Kent. The culture is friendly and supportive with plenty of interesting work to develop your area of interest. The role will involve both contentious and non-contentious employment law and you will client facing. You will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of employment law whether in connection with day to day employment advice, or Employment Tribunal claims and other contentious matters. The role will include: Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting and responding to claims, witness statements, and advocacy (at the preliminary hearing stage at a minimum) Giving day to day employment and HR advice to managers, HR, senior executives and at board level Drafting contracts, policies, and other employment related documentation Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, and conducting investigations Conducting negotiations and drafting settlement agreements Advising individuals/senior executives Essential experience: A Solicitor qualified in England and Wales with a minimum of 2 years PQE Both contentious and non-contentious employment experience Experience of litigation tribunals Good drafting skills Excellent people management skills Able to work independently On offer is excellent quality work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity of mainly remote working.
