Hours and Basis: Permanent, full time
Salary: MPS/UPS - £301,650 - £49,084 per annum FTE

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our team, focusing on supporting children with SEND, particularly those with ASD SLCN and MSI.
In this role, you will:
● Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of children with ASD and other SEND.
● Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
● Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes communication, independence, and social skills development.
● Work closely with families and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s learning and well-being.
● Contribute to the ongoing development of our SEND provision, sharing your expertise and innovative ideas.
● Lead and manage a team of Teaching Assistants who support SEND children.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
● Experience: Proven experience teaching children with SEND, particularly those with ASD.
● Knowledge: A thorough understanding of ASD strategies, sensory integration approaches, SLCN and behaviour management techniques.
● Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and additional SEND/ASD training or qualifications (desirable but not essential).
● Skills: Outstanding communication, adaptability, and creativity to meet the diverse needs of learners.
● Commitment: A genuine passion for inclusive education and a drive to support every child to achieve their best.
