Treasurer for a small Charity
The Treasurer plays a key role in all aspects of running a charity, including securing funding, managing finances, maintaining compliance, and delivering effective services. The Treasurer might even step in and do other ad hoc tasks when necessary. This role is voluntary and is often one of the most involved within a charitable board, carrying significant responsibilities.
Since the Treasurer controls the financial responsibilities of the charity, it is important to note that Southend Street Pastors is a Christian organization, and while it is important, it is not essential for all members to belong to a local church. All members will need to go through a DBS check.
