Job Description
As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
3. Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
4. Process invoices, records payments, and track expenses of the organisation
5. Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
6. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
7. Support the Finance and Accounting team with project management and special projects
8. Serve as a liaison between the finance department and other departments within the company
9. Provide excellent customer service to company employees and vendors
10. Assist with other accounting projects as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:
11. A qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field
12. Proficiency in Excel and other financial software programs
13. Strong attention to detail and the ability to notice discrepancies in data
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
15. The ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
16. A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative when problems arise
