As a result of a recent redesign of NHSG Musculoskeletal (MSK) Foot and Ankle Services, we now have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Team. A full time permanent Advanced Podiatrist, Band 7 post ( £48,788 to £56,747 per annum) vacancy is now available. The above post will play an integral part of NHSG MSK Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Service, working collaboratively with all members of the Multidisciplinary Team. This post will be hospital based within Woodend Out-patient Orthopaedic Department, Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). Key actions within this role include but not limited to: Development and evaluation of the service against locally set targets. Leading on clinical support and appraisal for all grades of staff within the team. Working within multi-professional/agency teams to ensure co-ordinated care and health improvement activity for patients presenting with complex MSK foot conditions. Responsible for providing specialist training, education and development of staff within the Podiatry team and wider health and social care team on MSK foot and ankle conditions. Triaging of all MSK foot and ankle referrals on behalf of NHSG Foot and Ankle Service.
