The Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), you will be responsible for maintaining the company's buildings, plants, and equipment at their Coventry facilities. This is a hands-on role that will see you working across a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring the smooth operation of the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete the site's Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme
Attend and resolve breakdowns on plant and equipment
Oversee and manage external contractors on-site
Maintain building services in line with legislation and site expectations
Maintain EHS equipment and systems
Maintain detailed maintenance service records
What We're Looking For:
Time-served multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias
Relevant experience in a similar role
Electrical background with knowledge of BS 7671
Understanding of hydraulic systems and compression moulding presses
Ability to fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems
City & Guilds, HNC, or ONC qualifications (desirable)
Forklift truck licence (desirable)
MEWP licence (desirable)
