Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals is looking to recruit enthusiastic newly qualified registered nurses, due to qualify between January 2024 and March 2024, to join our established multi-disciplinary teams providing high-quality care across our three sites. We support newly qualified nurses in consolidating their skills and knowledge through a comprehensive 12-month preceptorship program delivered by clinical educators and specialist teams, both face-to-face and via Teams.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team in a supportive clinical environment. You will complete the Trust’s Preceptorship package, supported by our dedicated clinical education team, utilizing our excellent education facilities. During this period, you will provide care within your chosen pathway, identifying your strengths and areas for further development to benefit patient care. This process will help you become a confident and competent nurse, practicing according to the NMC Code (2018) and preparing for your first NMC Revalidation in three years.

* Other Areas: Emergency Departments, Critical Care Units, Theatres, Diagnostic & Outpatient Services

* Up-to-date knowledge of professional issues
Experience
* Completion of Nurse Training Programme and registration with the NMC

* Good verbal and written communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and relatives

* Resourceful, able to work independently, and methodical in practice
