Your Responsibilities Include:
* Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping activities across a portfolio of clients
* Sales ledger including raising invoices and credit control
* Processing and reconciling bank transactions
* Preparing VAT returns
* Preparing and posting journals
* Making payments to suppliers and creditors
* Checking and processing expense claims
* Assisting with preparation of clients’ management accounts
* Assisting in budgeting and cash flow forecasts
* Payroll preparation and management
* Liaising and working directly with a range of external clients
* Providing administrative support internally to the company
You will need:
* Experience in a similar role
* Experience in payroll preparation
* Excellent attention to detail
* Be able to work on your own initiative and independently
* Have good solid communication skills and confidence
* Familiar with Xero software
* Confidently use Sage Accounting and Payroll
* Part Qualified AAT
