Join our team to help build a better, more sustainable world for future generations The opportunity As the Senior Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, analysing competitive landscapes, and developing strategic plans to ensure our products meet customer needs and achieve business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful execution of product strategies. As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will be expected to conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for growth. You will use this information to create comprehensive product roadmaps and strategic plans that align with the company's overall vision and goals. What you will do: Conduct market research and competitive analysis through collaboration with FG Wilson Dealers, Sales team and other internal business partners. Meet regularly with Dealer Network to understand customer needs and expectations Develop and implement a comprehensive Product Road Map for the FG Wilson brand Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of product strategies. Play a key role in strategic planning sessions, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, communicating product strategies clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Your ability to build consensus, manage expectations, and drive alignment across teams will be essential to your success in this role. Your insights and recommendations will be critical in guiding decision-making processes and ensuring the company's products remain competitive and relevant in the marketplace. Data Gathering & Analysis - Level Extensive Experience: Documents sources and validates the accuracy of data analysis by evaluating the pros and cons of data analysis methods used. Implements procedures and policies within a data processing function. Evaluates best practices of data gathering and analysis within the data centre/construction/ mining industries regarding power generation. Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Level Working Knowledge: Identifies, obtains, and organizes relevant data and ideas. Participates in documenting and prioritising data, ideas, stakeholders, and processes. Assists in assessing risks, benefits and consideration of alternatives. Effective Communications - Level Working Knowledge: Able to gain consensus on the execution of priorities to multiple stakeholder groups. Able to communicate technical details from dealers to engineering teams. Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work. Relationship Management - Level Working Knowledge: Provides prompt and effective responses to dealer requests and interactions. Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis. Works with dealers and internal teams to address critical issues and resolve major problems. Strategic Thinking - Level Working Knowledge: Create and implement the business product strategy Explains elements of the strategy to others and encourages questions. Monitors marketplace trends, opportunities, and vulnerabilities; reports findings. Makes sound recommendations when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives. Additional information: There is a travel requirement of once a quarter. This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring a 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our Larne office and remote work for the remaining days. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.
