From cooking and cleaning in the home, driving the children to school and helping with home work, through to management of medication and attending health appointment with them - you will be there for them 24/7. Working as part of a team, you will work collaboratively to ensure care plans are updated, risk assessments completed and thorough handovers completed to ensure the care of the child remains consistent. You will also work closely to plan events, activities and holidays! If you are planning for a birthday, a day out or a key-work session, we want you to work to the specific needs of the child and explore what they will find interesting, engaging and empowering. At times, our children can become dysregulated and we will give you all the training and support to learn de-escalation and behaviour management techniques such as Team Teach so that you have all the tools required to support the children. We will also support you undertake your level 4 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce if required and also put you through our in-house Therapeutic training provided by our Clinical Team. As part of our mandatory training you will be given training in safeguarding, first aid, food hygiene, GDPR and health & safety amongst a few to ensure you have the solid grounding to start your career with us. Our Management Teams are there to support you in the good and bad times; whether in a de-brief after a shift or as part of a routine supervision, time to talk, reflect and review is a huge part of our service and support for our staff.

In additional to your salary, you will also earn £80 per sleep in which could total an extra £4,800 based on 5 sleep's per month.
