Our client is seeking a highly skilled Recovery and Resolution Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to navigate the company's approach to identifying and managing actions in the event of stress, ensuring readiness for potential recovery or resolution events.
What you'll do:
1. Navigate the company's approach to identifying and cataloguing management actions it can take in the event of stress.
2. Engage with other functions and businesses with an emphasis on bringing Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) to all business areas and functions.
3. Ensure the bank is ready to respond should a stress deteriorate into recovery phase or even further into resolution.
4. Coordinate and support senior management in the bank’s response to any potential recovery or resolution event.
5. Deliver the Recovery Plan to local regulators on a periodic basis.
6. Support submission of local resolution plans to local regulators as required.
7. Collaborate closely with stress testing and other treasury functions to embed RRP into a BAU framework in line with Regulatory expectations.
8. Enable business divisions and support functions to deliver the required information.
What you bring:
As an ideal candidate for the Recovery and Resolution Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience in capital management, stress testing, liquidity management or recovery and resolution planning. You are a qualified accountant or possess equivalent experience. Your demonstrable experience with balance sheets and managing financial statements of a bank or financial institution sets you apart. Your collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical nature allows you to bring numbers to life and navigate the bigger picture. Your experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority will be invaluable in this role.
