What you’ll be doing:
* Design and develop REST APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
* Implement and manage API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
* Utilize digital signatures to ensure data integrity and authenticity.
* Oversee networking aspects of solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Integrate Webhooks to enable real-time data exchange between systems.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process and ensure continuous delivery.
* Apply good design principles to create user-friendly and efficient solutions.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are managed.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Skills you’ll have:
* Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
* Knowledge of secure messaging solutions.
* Expertise in API security, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
* Experience with digital signatures and cryptographic protocols.
* Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
* Proficiency in integrating Webhooks.
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
* Excellent design skills with a focus on usability and performance.
* Prioritisation of tasks based on business priorities.
* Able to ideate and apply Blue-sky thinking.
* Feasibility assessment.
Experience you’ll have:
* Able to demonstrate a career involved with designing new products and services or orchestrating significant change to existing ones.
* Articulation of the business and operational risks involved in new and emerging technology and its adoption into an eco-system.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of design engineering principles & processes.
* High self-management across multiple work streams and dependencies.
