Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving sales revenue growth in the used commercial vehicle market to maximise all business opportunities ensuring all enquiries are handled in a professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Be aware of stock availability and ensure stock is presented to customers in the best condition.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
* Negotiate prices and terms with customers to close deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance to ensure seamless transaction execution.
* Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
* Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and changes affecting the used commercial vehicle industry.
Person Specification
Requirements (qualifications/skills/abilities)
* Graduate or educated to similar standard.
* Valid Driving License essential.
* Computer literate.
* Previous Sales Experience preferable.
* Ideal candidate will have previous Commercial Vehicle or Finance Sales experience (Not Essential).
* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong knowledge of the used commercial vehicle market and industry trends.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in CRM software (not essential).
