GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for aSales Manager who would like to help us reach our missionto earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.
This role will be covering the South. You will ideally be based in the Reading/Oxford area and be happy to travel with overnight stays when required. There will also be a regular requirement to visit our head office in Woolpit, Suffolk.
As the Sales Manager your key responsibilities are
Generate new Multi Utility business sales through developing relationships with the top 12 to 30 house builders/developers
Support the Regional Sales Managers in identifying opportunities to convert GTCs existing gas orderbook to an alternative sustainable solution
Visit developers who have already awarded contracts with GTC on a Gas/ Electric delivery model to establish what they intend to do post 2025 i.e., No Gas in New Build Properties
Develop a strong network on internal contacts within the business, to facilitate long term benefits to yourself and the business
Attend Sales meetings, providing weekly updates and monthly forecasting for sales opportunities
About you
Previous experience of working within a sales environment and looking to further develop or have had experience within a related industry and looking to move into a sales role
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel
Excellent in person presentation skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to your audience
Good negotiation skills, ability to think creatively and have a natural appetite to think laterally
Ability to use your own initiative and have a passion of working to targets
