Job Title - 3D Designer
Salary - £40-50k
Location - London
Reporting to - Senior Designer & Creative Director
Role Summary -
We are currently seeking a passionate, ambitious, sociable, fun and organised individual who is looking to become a key member of a busy, close-knit team who wishes to grow and progress within the company. The ideal candidate would be an established mid-weight 3D Designer that is looking for a new challenge
You will work on a variety of interesting and varied global projects across our Group, from sporting events, festivals and corporate events to brand activations and motorsport.
Responsibilities -
* Producing incredible 3D designs for events and activations that adhere to existing client brand guidelines.
* Creating detailed CAD floorplans and 3D models of your projects.
* Initial design ideation and research, producing professional look and feel documents to promote and sell concepts to the client.
* Producing high-quality decks for projects and pitches.
* Working collaboratively with Graphic Designers, Artworkers and Visualisers to produce incredible event spaces and activations.
* Taking ownership on creative output for some projects, whilst sense checking with Creative Director and Senior Designers.
* Fully collaborating and assisting other members of the team. Supporting junior members of the team so they are able to reach their full potential.
* Thoroughly checking and packaging designs and floorplans before passing them onto suppliers and freelancers.
* Briefing Junior and freelancer designers and monitoring project progression to ensure deadlines are met.
* Attending site recce’s to ensure a proper understanding of event spaces.
Experience/Skills -
* An appropriate 3D Design degree or an equivalent degree/experience in Design.
* Previous experience in a 3D design role is essential.
* Confidence in producing freehand sketching and scamps as well as polished photorealistic renders to communicate your thoughts and ideas.
* Experience translating designs into 3D technical drawings and working with production teams.
* Experience in managing and taking responsibility for your part of a project.
* Effectively managing your time across multiple projects, with excellent multi-tasking and time-management skills.
* An exemplary eye for detail.
* A finger on the pulse of emerging technologies and trends.
* Ability to communicate ideas to the team and client.
* Ability to work and learn fast.
Bonus Experience/Skills -
* 3D Studio Max and or SketchUp, AutoCAD & Vray
* Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
* Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of PowerPoint
