Job Summary
As the Sustainability Coordinator for the Recycle loop, it will be your job to coordinate, manage and use sustainability data to ensure the effective reporting and implementation of the Reconomy sustainability framework, whilst supporting the Sustainability Director with the implementation of the sustainability strategy across the Recycle loop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight and responsibility for ESG (Environmental, social, and governance)/sustainability data collection, aggregation, management, review, and interpretation.
* Use data to support performance tracking, reporting and disclosure requirements at Function, Brand and Recycle loop level.
* Carbon data reporting, support with audit/preparation and other submissions.
* Support engagement throughout the organisation through the Net Zero Hero group.
* Working with other functions and colleagues support the implementation of our social value and environmental net positive programmes.
* Work with Marketing and Comms teams to engage on sustainability with key stakeholders including internal and external reporting. Input to quarterly and annual ESG Board reports.
* Obtain and coordinate evidence or develop as needed for Ecovadis (assessment tool) submission, customer tenders and other assessments such as Sedex.
* Analysis and communication of areas of improvement within the organisation.
* Support Sustainability Director with the wider delivery of the sustainability strategy, objectives, targets, KPIs and programmes - working with Recycle brands to develop plans, targets and objectives.
What We Need From You:
* Familiarity with Sustainability topics, the circular economy and reporting frameworks, and standards would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of carbon management and reduction within the business environment would be an advantage.
* Excellent attention to detail, strong process driven approach and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
* Ability to actively identify potential issues relating to data in the delivery of business targets and work with stakeholders to review, remediate or manage a solution.
* An Environmental or Sustainability degree, some relevant experience and member of IEMA or similar are an advantage.
* A passion to make a difference, with good interpersonal and project management skills and manage the ability to prioritise effectively whilst working to deadlines.
* Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills would be desirable.
