About the College/Department
This role is within a busy apprenticeship support team, based in The Registry at the University of Derby, Kedleston Road campus. We are a highly motivated team responsible for compliance and the student records of our apprenticeship students from the beginning to end of their programmes.

About the Role
The main focus of this role is to assist with administration, supporting the apprenticeship journey across the University of Derby. You will work closely with the Operational Compliance Manager to create a strong process for the compliance of apprenticeships.
You will be assisting with co-ordination, management and the process of apprenticeships sign ups, change of circumstance and exits ensuring all required documentation for audit purposes has been received and is accurate and compliant. Creating, updating and managing apprenticeship records (eg: DAS (Digital Apprenticeship Service), LRS (Learner Records Service), apprentice files, evidence packs) in line with funding agency requirements.
The role is standard office hours, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. We do ask candidates to be aware that there may be the requirement to undertake occasional late/evening/weekend work at busy times and to support apprenticeship events.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and IT-literate professional with experience in a busy administrative and customer service environment. The ideal candidate will be confident in data analysis and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will excel at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and working both independently and as part of a team. With a strong customer focus and a flexible approach, you will have the initiative to solve problems, a methodical work style, and the ability to set and maintain high standards. Proficiency in MS Office and related software is essential, along with a willingness to embrace change and new challenges.
