Next Level are the business development section of Reflections Hairdressing & Barbering Training Academy. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional person to join our busy team. We are ideally looking for a part-time position, but would consider full-time.
Tutor/Assessor Position
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following qualities:
1. Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and train learners
2. Strong communication skills, be approachable and able to initiate ideas
3. Ability to prioritise, good organisational skills and able to adhere to deadlines and targets
4. To have full competency and a passion in the delivery and assessing of Study Programmes and Apprenticeship Standards in the following areas: Business Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading & Management
5. Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS, Award in Education and Training, as an example)
Tutor/Assessor Duties to include:
1. Plan and deliver training to learners that identifies individual learning needs, preferred approaches and prior skills and knowledge to ensure maximum impact
2. Support the delivery of underpinning knowledge through workshops and one-to-ones, in line with the above-mentioned programmes
3. Ensure all workshops and sessions are fully prepared offering inspiring and interactive delivery
4. Monitor learner progress and performance in meeting their individual training plan, aspirations, and set targets
5. Schedule timely visits and carry out assessments/training within the workplace where appropriate
6. Support learners with their functional skill developments
7. Work with learners in preparing them for the world of work and Employability Skills
8. Ability to demonstrate and deliver high-quality training
9. IT literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office a must
10. The successful candidate will be working with learners and employers in raising the standards and quality of training
