If so then we have the role for you We’re recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the General Merchanting division based in Northampton. Supporting the Finance Business Partner, alongside many exciting projects, you’ll provide management accounting and analytical support to the business to help drive the best financial and commercial decisions to drive business performance and maximise achievement against the annual operating plan. This role is Hybrid working, so travel to our Travis Perkins head office based in Northampton is usually required once or twice a week Your key accountabilities will include: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review weekly/monthly reports, enabling us to assess performance and make impactful adjustments. Data Interpretation & Insight Generation: Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate performance to allow the Senior Leadership Team to understand and manage their progress against targets. Create and develop KPI and other reports that drive actionable insight and improved business performance. Delivery of month end close process including posting journals, inter-company transactions, P&L and margin review, also managing accruals & prepayments. Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement: Help drive our cost-efficiency initiatives by analysing expenses to help deliver robust cost analysis and supporting commentary. Budgeting & Forecasting: Play an essential role in the budgeting process, working with departments to set ambitious yet achievable targets that align with our growth strategy. Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Develop models that provide insights into the financial outcomes. Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver insightful financial presentations, making complex data accessible and actionable for our leadership team. To be considered, you will need to be a part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or with a relevant degree and intention to study.
