About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects in the North East. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Client Liaison – Act as the primary point of contact, maintaining strong client relationships.
Project Delivery – Ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and in line with company standards.
Technical Coordination – Raise and manage material approvals, RFI’s, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Site Leadership – Direct and support the site team, including the Site Manager, Engineer, and Trainee.
Meetings & Reporting – Chair weekly internal and client meetings, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
Compliance & Documentation – Ensure Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) are followed and documented throughout the project.
Progress Tracking – Maintain accurate daily records of site activities, progress, and key decisions.
Essential Requirements
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
First Aid Certification
SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) or similar
Preferred (But Not Essential)
Streetworks Certification
TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator)
Lift Supervisor Certification
SEATS or similar additional qualifications
