Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and assistance to students with various emotional, and learning needs. Assist students with daily activities such as: core subject learning such as English and Math, encouraging independence, supporting communication and collaborative learning. Support students in participating in educational activities and lessons. Ensure students’ safety and comfort at all times. Collaborate with teaching staff and other care professionals to create and implement individualised care plans. Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members. Requirements: Previous experience in a care assistant or similar role (preferably within an educational or healthcare setting). A caring and patient approach to supporting students with special needs. A resilient and hardworking ethos. Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with students, staff, and parents. An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices. A commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of students. An enhanced DBS check will be required (we will assist with this process if necessary).
