Job summary
To support the Outpatient Service Manager in the operational delivery across the Reception Services, Health Records, Access to Records across seven sites. The role is varied within each of the areas listed above with additional support from two other operational managers to assist being visible and supporting Supervisors with their teams. It is often challenging and also rewarding as we are always looking at ways to improve the service based on future requirements of the Trust and Service. We work hard to assist in the patients' journey within the Outpatient Service from booking the appointment, to retrieving the health care record, booking them in at reception for the appointment and completing Subject Access Requests in a timely manner, whilst listening to patient and staff feedback to deliver an excellent outpatient experience.
Main duties of the job
To support the Outpatient Service Manager for the Service in their charge with an overview of the day to day and future planning for service improvements and transformational change as listed within the Job description. To support and be responsible for the management, development and empowerment of the Supervisors and teams within the service.
