Description Project Officer: Made Smarter Adoption East of England (7590) | Fixed Term Contract 12 Months until 31 March 2026 | 37 hours per week| £33,366 to £35,235 per annum |(Grade H) | Norwich An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Project Officer within the Economic Development’s Innovation and Sectors team. Hybrid working with office base being County Hall in Norwich. The Innovation and Sectors team manages a wide range of programmes supporting Norfolk’s innovation ecosystem and key sectors (including advanced manufacturing and engineering, creative industries, agri-tech and energy). We are looking for a hardworking, client focused and efficient team member. As a Project Officer you will work with the Project Manager and key stakeholders to support the definition, planning and delivery of the Made Smarter Adoption programme which will support East of England manufacturing and engineering SMEs with the adoption and implementation of digital technologies, ensuring that programme controls are in place for successful delivery of the expected benefits and outcomes. With a track record of collaboration, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of the Made Smarter Adoption Programme across Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Hertfordshire. Strong communication, marketing and analytical skills will be essential to enable management of programme deliverables and support with lead generation for the programme. You will be responsible for the planning and organisation of events and activities and travel and accommodation booking arrangements.
