Hours : Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:30pm Location : Wincomblee Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 3QS Key Responsibilities Managing a small team of warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring all team members are prepared and ready for their day Run the transport operations for the branch - load planning and delivery routes Support Branch Manager with operations: driver and warehouse staff health and safety compliance Directly support warehouse team with preparing and loading/unloading orders when necessary (forklift training provided) Provide an excellent level of service for all customers Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts and producing reports on stock management for branch Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Required Skills and Experience Previous industry experience is beneficial Experience within warehouse and transport management Confident in a hands on, sometimes physical role Flexible with a positive can-do attitude What's in it for you: Competitive salary and discretionary bonus A wide range of voluntary benefits including holiday buying, discounted gym membership, car salary sacrifice scheme, Cycle2Work, Benenden Healthcare and more.
