An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Catering, Bars and Retail Team at Falmouth Exeter Plus as a Bar Supervisor. Based in our bar on the Penryn Campus, the successful candidate will share our passion for great drinks and bar food and will be a highly valued and crucial part of the bar team, preparing fresh food and producing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, whilst maintaining a fun and exciting environment for our customers. About You The successful candidate will have experience of working in a bar/nightclub environment, as well as experience of working with food/ in a bar/café /kitchen. In addition to excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks, you will have a customer focused mind-set and strive to deliver and exceed students, staff and visitors’ expectations You will have proven organisational skills within an event based environment, supporting high end events. In addition to the ability to create great drinks you will have experience of running a bar without supervision, managing and setting an excellent example to a team and ensuring staffing levels are correct. You will have high standards, ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times and the ability to achieve and maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness. With the ability to keep the bar organised and stocked, you will have a flexible approach to hours and work and be adaptable to work at varying events and across different sites.
