Roles and responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor - Newham
Ensuring classwork is engaging for pupils by supervising them.
Creating a learning environment where pupils are encouraged to interact.
Assisting pupils in becoming more independent learners.
Building trust with pupils and interacting with them accordingly.
Providing assistance to pupils as needed.
Establishing a classroom environment that is safe, supportive, and positive
Ensure good behaviour is promoted, conflict and incidents are handled promptly in accordance with established policies, and pupil responsibility is encouraged.
Collecting completed work and returning it to the teacher.
Providing feedback to teachers on pupils' achievement and progress
