The role is responsible for matrix management of identified project team who are responsible for the definition and delivery of the Digital projects within the Trust's EPR Programme.
The Teams Could Consist Of:
* System suppliers
* Key project stakeholders
* Technical resources
* Clinicians
* Project staff responsible for the implementation of key ITIL processes such as Knowledge Management and Change and Service Asset and Configuration.
The role has responsibility for the projects up to and including project start, implementation and transition of all projects into support. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the project governance arrangements in order to ensure a robust audit trail of project outputs, outcomes and benefits exist by establishing and leading a Project Board structure reporting to the Line manager and relevant Boards.
The role will be responsible for the definition of all work packages needed to deliver a project and ensure that these are identified at the planning stage so they can be resource scheduled for work requirements. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate controls are put in place to maintain the quality of services transferred into Service Operations and will work closely with the Service Operations and Service Application Manager to achieve this.
Responsible for the effective management of projects under a well-defined and managed programme. The scope of work may broadly include:
* Scoping, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of IT Projects, using knowledge and experience of best practice.
* Benefits planning, monitoring and realisation of the projects.
* Preparing and updating project documents.
* Matrix management of technical resources and project stakeholders.
* Line management of project staff overseeing their performance and development.
* Developing deliverable project plans and managing project inter-dependencies.
* Reporting/communicating progress to the Workstream and Programme Boards external and internal governing bodies and other stakeholders.
