We'd like you to join us as a Senior Deputy Manager at our service Woodland Court in Surrey. Woodland Court is a modern Supported Living service providing care and support for up to 36 adults with complex needs. Woodland Court is set in large grounds in a tranquil part of Caterham, just a short walk from the town centre. We offer person-centred care to people to support them to become as independent as possible. What you'll be working: 40 Hours per week. The post will be split between office time and working on the floor. Working 5 days a week. Working every other weekend. What you'll be doing: Support and adhere to the home s medication policies and procedures and maintain the necessary records to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the systems. Administering medicines inclusive of audits. To complete the medication process. To enhance communication and transparency of roles between the team and the RHM. To oversee the residents individual weekly programmes To oversee all aspects of the required documentation for all residents including care plans, risk assessments and audits and ensuring all are kept up to date. To ensure up to date knowledge of legislation, guidance and requirements, i.e. SOVA,MCA, DOLS, CQC. Organise Review Schedule liaising with admin for timelines. To be involved with and oversee the initial formulation of residents reviews and attend reviews as required. To be involved in external activities and meetings i.e. forum events and social networking groups for residents. Overseeing petty cash on a daily and weekly basis. Ensuring staff skill mix on each team and checking of rota in accordance with Tru Time. To support the RHM by taking responsibility for data input and rostering on Tru Time as required. Be involved in recruitment/interviewing. What you'll have: Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills. Proven track record of experience in the acquired brain injury field with considerable leadership experience of managing teams. Must be willing to commence a level 4 diploma or hold an equivalent qualification. Be a forward thinking individual who is confident in their approach to internal and external parties. Have good time management and organisational skills. Must have computer skills in Excel, word, outlook and internet explorer. Ability to deal with problem solve in a demanding environment. Able to use own initiative and creativity to enhance the productivity of the home.
