HR Professional Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, including employee relations, and data management. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources practices and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. You will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive work environment. The role will include but not be limited to - Providing expert HR support and advice to colleagues and managers, oversea any investigations, ensuring policies and procedures are effectively applied and employees training is compliant and up to date Key Responsibilities • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts. • Provide advice on HR policies, processes, and employment legislation to colleagues and managers. • Guide managers on handling employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management. • Support workplace conflict resolution by mediating and fostering a positive work environment. • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes, including inductions and exit interviews. • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements in all HR processes. • Monitor and analyse absence, leave, conduct and performance management data, providing insights to Managers. • Maintain accurate HR records, including contracts, colleague files, and HR system updates. • Generate HR reports and data insights to support decision-making and process improvements. • Respond to reference requests from external companies • Monitor and update the company training matrix. Booking renewals as necessary • Develop a strong working relationship with Payroll to ensure compliance procedures • Stay updated on employment legislation and support the development of HR policies and procedures. • Uphold confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in handling colleague information. • Undertake additional tasks or projects as required by management. About You • Previous experience working within an HR environment • Demonstrate a clear understanding and interest in the HR function • Thorough knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices • Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships. • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task • Organise/priorities workload appropriately • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently • Conscientious with an attention to detail and high-quality standards. • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and professional approach • Strong team player who actively seeks to strengthen team dynamic Qualifications GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent in English and Math's Relevant professional CIPD 5 qualifications in HR or willingness to work towards High level of numeracy and literacy Proficient keyboard skills with a high level of accuracy Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year Experience: Customer service: 3 years (required) HR: 3 years (required) License/Certification: Driving License (preferred) This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in human resources while contributing positively to our organization's culture and success
