Job summary To act as a lead in supporting the Directorate in driving and embedding quality and research further within the culture of the Imaging Department, influencing behaviour, ensuring the highest of standards of record keeping and documentation which in turn impacts on a better patient experience and best practice. Main duties of the job To work as part of the Imaging Directorate's Quality and Research Team with a specific focus on ensuring that high standards and robust governance is implemented and maintained across all modalities of the Imaging service providing assurance of compliance with all relevant national quality and safety standards. The post holder will help to support, drive and promote research activity, striving to establish best practice for patients and further embed evidence based practice into the culture of a research led department, using negotiation and problem solving skills should any challenges arise to participation, thus enabling high levels of research activity and treatment opportunities for patients.
