Position Overview:
Education Personnel Services are looking to appoint an HR Adviser to our Hampshire Team. We pride ourselves in delivering a high-quality HR advisory and consultancy service to over 700 Hampshire and Oxfordshire schools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide guidance and support to headteachers, senior leaders, and governors through the management of individual employee relations casework and our Helpdesk Service.
2. Contribute to the practical resolution of matters ensuring that employment decisions consider the needs of the school and adhere to legislative requirements, relevant policies, and good employment practices.
3. Support our Helpdesk Service while managing your own casework.
Qualifications and Skills:
You will be studying towards or have a Certificate in Personnel Practice or relevant experience to provide high-quality and timely advice on specialist or generalist HR issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for advising confidently, identifying risk-based options, and providing sound HR advice to our schools.
Excellent IT skills and time management are crucial for accurately recording customer interactions on our databases and monitoring customer feedback.
Work Location:
This position will be based in Winchester. Our new ways of working across the County Council provide colleagues with the flexibility of working from both the office and home, with the expectation of working in the office once a week supporting the Helpdesk Service and as needed. There is a requirement for travel with this position and you will be expected to visit our schools in person as required.
