We have an exciting opportunity, a newly created role of IT Service & Operations Manager. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and Infrastructure and provide leadership, guidance, and structure to our Technology Service Partners.

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensuring that we are responding in an appropriate and timely manner to incidents logged, requests raised, or problems identified with a ‘hands-on’ approach.
2. You’ll manage the infrastructure in our estate efficiently and effectively, with a data-driven approach to spotting trends and identifying opportunities to resolve or prevent repeat failures.
3. Working in an outsourced model, you will manage the delivery of operations relating to following IT Service Towers to meet agreed SLA’s and KPI’s across our IT Service Desk and Desk Side Support.
4. You’ll take ownership of the definition and delivery of critical operational processes, such as Asset Management DR & BCP, ensuring that these operate effectively.
5. You’ll champion continual service improvement for the IT Operations and Infrastructure area, looking for opportunities to deliver improvements in efficiency or effectiveness to deliver an ever-improving service for our customers and colleagues.
What are we looking for?
1. Proven track record in developing and managing relationships with key suppliers, ensuring that they meet their contractual agreements.
2. Previous experience in all aspects of IT Service Management, Service Design & Service Transition.
3. Proven ability to solve problems in a logical, quick & efficient manner.
4. Excelling in your approach, you’ll be able to influence and build relationships quickly with key stakeholders/customers/3rd parties.
5. Be commercially aware and through robust processes and controls, ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant reporting and risk management.
