We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Manager to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing an existing portfolio of accounts, building relationships with e-commerce companies that require international parcel delivery solutions. Account Management:
Proactively establishing and developing key strategic business relationships across various levels, offering an exceptional high level of service including; sales, advice and consultation to a portfolio worth £350k+. Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client's international shipping requirements, challenges, and growth objectives.
Ensuring continuous improvement in high level customer services and support including the detailed analysis for key members within the portfolio, personally understanding client’s needs and requirements at all times.
Continually adding value to customers by providing a full audit process on end to end path of digital or physical communication, harvesting details of new stakeholders and decision makers and identifying areas of synergies and improvements.
Full project management ensuring schedules and service targets are achieved within set timescales, minimising potential risks and issues to clients.
Relationship Management:
Act as a trusted advisor and provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
Proactively identify opportunities to expand service offerings and grow existing accounts.
Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, etc.) to ensure seamless on-boarding and ongoing support for new clients.
Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
Share market intelligence and best practices with the sales team.
Sales Performance:
Achieve and exceed quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Provide regular sales performance reports and updates to management.
Proven track record of success in account management, with a focus on growth and development of customer accounts.
Experience selling international shipping, logistics, or e-commerce solutions is highly desirable.
Understanding of different Incoterms governing international eCommerce shipments.
Strong understanding of the e-commerce industry and international trade dynamics.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Commission: Generous commission structure paid on growing an existing portfolio.
