About the Role:
Due to continuous expansion, we are looking for a Trainee Drainage Operative to join our Rushden Depot working on our Anglian Water contract.
Location: Wellingborough
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Salary: £12 per hour
The job:
No drainage experience is necessary as we will train you to the appropriate standard. As part of a team, you’ll be shadowing/assisting a drainage engineer. The role will include a number of drainage-related issues, including emergencies such as blockages and cleaning pipes during maintenance programmes.
What is essential is the ability to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
We operate 24/7, which means you will be required to be flexible. Full training, PPE, and use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our Service Engineers have the right tools, competency, and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes’ high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.
About you:
You’re a hard worker seeking to start a career in the drainage industry. You’re polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public and observe all health and safety procedures. You will also have a clean Driver's licence.
