About the Team:
A small but highly engaged team split across London and York offices. The Private Client team is passionate about the brand and exceeding expectations, serving the insurance needs of high net worth clients.
The Role:
You will be the primary contact for your portfolio of high net worth clients, supporting the wider team with managing large, complex accounts. You will build relationships, understand customer needs, and ensure they are fully protected year after year. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling client enquiries, negotiating renewal and mid-term changes, and identifying cross-sell opportunities. Occasionally, you may meet clients in person, visiting some of the most spectacular homes in the UK.
This team values exceptional customer service, rapport-building, and the ability to manage complex information effectively.
Responsibilities as a Senior Account Handler:
* Full responsibility for client portfolio retention
* Building and maintaining relationships with both external and internal contacts
* Understanding clients' needs and facilitating enquiries
* Negotiating terms for renewals, mid-term changes, and new business
* Growing business income through retention, cross-sell, and up-sell
* Handling challenging situations professionally, reflecting the brand's values
* Maintaining client data security and privacy
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability
* Experience in delivering exceptional customer service and client management
* Expertise in insurance products
* Adaptability to change and quick learning of new systems
* Proactive in improving work processes
* Driven and energetic to advance personal and business goals
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree qualification (preferred but not mandatory)
* CII qualification or progress towards it
