I am currently recruiting for a teacher for a SEMH school in Horncastle servicing pupils from 6 to 16 years old. The post is initially a temporary position with high possibility to go permanent.
As a teacher you will be involved in the marking and planning of lessons. You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient, and passionate, being able to think outside of the box and can change your teaching methods to suit individual needs is critical.
The school caters for students who cannot access mainstream education, many of the students have either Autism, Aspergers or SEMH needs. Strong behaviour management is essential, and you must have the patience to deal with challenging behaviour at times.
