Contract type: Permanent, full-time
Working hours: 42 hours per week (8 hour shifts between 07:00 & 18:00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch break, and Saturday on a rota basis 07:30 to 12:30)
Salary: OTE up to £36,000 (basic of £30,000 per annum plus bonus)
We're looking for a Service Advisor to join the team here at Ford Chelmsford. This role is offered on a Permanent basis on a 42 hour per week contract including Saturday mornings on a rota, with a very competitive starting salary of £30,000 and a generous, uncapped bonus. Our Service Advisors play an important role in providing our customers with a personalised, premium experience as they return for servicing, MOT and repairs. It is their job to showcase their knowledge and expertise so that our customers have all the information they require when making decisions about the servicing of their vehicle. We provide ongoing training and development opportunities for our Service Advisors through customer experience workshops.
Responsibilities
* Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers
* Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories
* Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments
* Managing a high volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
* Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the service
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the systems for bookings
You will have heaps of energy, a warm personality, and a passion for delivering first-class customer experiences. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily. Previous experience using Kerridge (ADP) would be an advantage.
For this role, you will need to maintain accurate customer records. You will be a great team player but also able to work independently. We want to hear from you if you have worked in a similar role within the automotive industry or have a passion for customer service and cars!
